Warranty Information

Project warranties come into effect upon receipt of all outstanding payments being received. This includes all retentions. The warranty date will be taken from the date of installation. In the event that any part of any payment is withheld Resin Bonded Surfaces reserves the right to void any warranty offered. The terms of our warranty are the equivalent of all other reputable companies providng these services.

What is covered

Resin Bonded Surfaces scatter system is fully guaranteed for five years from the date the installation is completed against :
Resin Break Away.
Cracking.
Colour Change.
De-bonding Stone Loss.
This guarantee is based on the application being applied to a suitable condition substrate in accordance with our Substrates & Bases requirements.
That the system is cared for and maintained in accordance with aftercare requirements.

What isn't covered

Does not cover damage caused by Substrate movement or degradation.
Does not cover damage caused by Chemical spill or attack.
Does not cover damage or cracking caused by reflective concrete cracking.
Does not cover damage caused by forceful impact ( ie. Skip lorries or HGV's )
Does not cover damage caused by sinkage, deformation or wheel tracking.

Does not cover damage caused by point impact or loading such as motorbike stands, stiletto shoes etc.
Slip resistance ( Resin bound only ) Resin Bonded is a slip resistant surface and warranted as such.

Aggregates

The aggregates used by resin bonded surfaces are quarried products and as such there may be small colour variations within an installation. In appointing Resin Bonded Surfaces Ltd the client acknowledges and accepts this. Any colour variation of the aggregate is not permitted to be used as measurement of a satisfactory installation.

Benchmark

To ensure client satisfaction on larger projects Resin Bonded Surfaces recommends that the client has an initial area installed to confirm that the materials and system meet their requirements. This benchmark area will then be used as a measurement of acceptable standards of installation. A bench mark installation will only be carried out on the first day of a full installation and should the client choose to reject any aspect of the benchmark area it does not entitle them to any form of refund. Its sole purpose is to give clients the opportunity to approve the quality of the surface and workmanship.
